Koh Kitazawa from Japan was in Rotorua
for Singlespeed Worlds.

He's great guy and he reported for the biggest bike media in Japan:

and also ALTERNATIVE BIKES JAPAN... 

Koh is running the 1st Japan Singlespeed Championships - 21/5/211
 which is sure to be a very cool event.
